It is extremely likely that your students will take an online course either in college or during their professional careers so it makes sense to teach them how to be successful online students in high school. In addition, online learning and the many web-based tools available have the power to address the 21st Century Skills that students will need in order to be successful in the workplace in way that is engaging and motivating to students. The tools and strategies you will explore in this workshop can also be incorporated into your face-to-face in instruction so that you can give your students the opportunity to creatively and collaboratively demonstrate their understandings.
